EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the EU will continue to draft new economic sanctions against Russia. This is reported TASS.
“We must be ready to repel aggression, but we prefer the path of diplomacy and negotiations. We reject any attempts by Russia to recreate spheres of influence in Europe,” Borrell said at a press conference following an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brest, France.
