EU Environment Commissioner rejects “wolf-free zones”

St. Johann im Pongau / Vienna – The EU will not shake the strict protection of wolves. Environment Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius made this clear in a recent question answer. Several Austrian MEPs had asked whether wolf-free zones in the Alpine region were possible or whether the protection would be weakened. The Lithuanian commissioner denied both.
