The new EU driving license directive is due to be adopted in 2024, and on the agenda is, among other things, the requirement to introduce an SUV driving license and regular driving tests for over-65s years.
On this occasion, the German magazine Der Spiegel interviewed more than 5 thousand people between October 16 and 18, 2023.
One of the questions was: “How would you rate the regular conduct of driving tests for all persons over the age of 65 who have a license to drive a motor vehicle?”.
