Good morning! Today, EU energy ministers are considering measures to stem the energy crisis and RIVM announces how many positive corona tests have been recorded. There is also (probably) a partial solar eclipse.
First of all the weather: in the coastal provinces there are still some showers today. In the rest of the country it will remain dry with regular sunshine. It will be a bachelor’s degree or 17.

What can you expect today?
- EU energy ministers are considering limiting the price of gas and other measures against the energy crisis. It was agreed at the EU summit on Thursday that the long-contested plans could move forward if the objections can be removed.
- RIVM reports how many positive corona tests were recorded in the last week. The number of new cases identified on Friday was much lower than before, but it is still unclear whether there is a downward trend. RIVM will also soon report how many people received the repeat shot.
- With the penultimate round of play in sight, tension is mounting in the Champions League. In group E, Chelsea will visit Red Bull Salzburg and AC Milan will travel to Dinamo Zagreb. Erling Haaland and Manchester City visit his former club, Borussia Dortmund.
