The European Union and EU member states are scheduled to discuss the 11th sanctions against Russia today (10th).
According to AFP, the 11th round of sanctions includes a plan to ban the export of sensitive technology to eight Chinese companies.
The EU suspects that these eight Chinese companies sold sensitive EU technology to Russia.
China’s Foreign Minister Qin Gang warned of retaliatory measures if sanctions were introduced against Chinese companies after meeting with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbok in Berlin.

German Foreign Minister Bae Bock has warned China that neutrality in relation to the war in Ukraine is tantamount to siding with Russia.
He also urged the Chinese government to ensure that Chinese companies do not supply Russia with dual-use items that could be used as weapons of war.

During his visit to China last month, Minister Bae Bok also revealed a tense difference in stance over Taiwan and Ukraine issues at a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Qin Gang.
After returning to Germany, Minister Bae Bock criticized his visit to China at the Bundestag, saying, “The extent of China’s aggressive and disrespectful behavior externally was more than a little shocking.”
