EU Commission, green light for Fitto and Ribera replacements. Meloni “Victory for all Italians” – Il Tempo

BRUSSELS (ITALPRESS) – Green light for the two active vice-presidents Teresa Ribera and Raffaele Fitto by the competent commissions of the European Parliament. The Regional Development Commission confirmed Raffaele Fitto as Executive Vice President of the European Commission for Cohesion and Reforms and the Environment, Business and Energy and Economic Affairs Commission approved Teresa Ribera as Executive Vice President for a Clean, Fair and Competitive Transition. “Raffaele Fitto – says Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni – has been confirmed as Executive Vice-President of the European Commission. This important task given to the Commissioner appointed by Italy is a victory for all Italians, not for the Government or a political force. We have acquired a powerful portfolio and coordination of strategic delegations for our country and for the whole of Europe, such as agriculture, fisheries, maritime economy, transport and tourism. This indicator is proof of the new center of Italy in a European context, worthy of our role as a founding state of the EU, the second largest manufacturing industry in Europe and the third largest economy on the continent continent “
