EU ambassadors have asked the director of GERB Boyko Borisov if there is an option for a cabinet, without the participation of DPS – A new beginning with the director Delyan Peevski. Borisov remained silent on this question. This is what Kiril Petkov, co-chairman of “We continue with the change – Democratic Bulgaria”, told bTV.
This happened a few days ago at a meeting announced by Borisov himself on Facebook.
“A person who was present at this meeting heard how options were proposed for a cabinet. One of them was GERB, New Beginning” and PP-DB. The alternative was GERB, New Start, BSP and ITN. And the ambassadors have asked: Is there an option without a fresh start” Petkov said.
And he said that they did not get an answer to this question. Petkov did not want to specify who exactly told him about the meeting.
“It is possible that New Beginning has bought every share, from every member, of every party. It is absolutely possible. That is why we did not say that we want a partial count of one share or another one. We said we want every part,” Petkov also said.
And he pointed out that a party leader cannot have a 3% vote rate and a return of 11.5%.
“For us, the difference is stolen votes. In the abuses, there may be vote buying and corporate. Nothing can be done about this bigger problem and through the Constitutional Court , because the Ministry of the Interior has not collected enough evidence. But for other abuses that we have seen – for writing ballots and confusing the protocols, we may to see them all over the country.” he said.
Petkov also explained what the conditions will be for negotiations in the new National Assembly.
“Borisov has to make his choice – Bulgaria or Peevski. I will tell him directly. If he still depends on Peevski and continues to fulfill everything Peevski tells him, no there’s no way it’s going to happen. If Peevski is afraid, it’s not that we’re having a conversation, they’re the kind of people who want to protect democracy.” Petkov said.
He also explained what he thought the GERB leader’s addiction might be.
“In addition to that we say to make a sanitary cordon in the declaration, we have two more steps there. One of them is that the SJC with an expired mandate cannot choose the chief prosecutor. If they have one small secret between Peevski and Borisov, which is related. in terms of past sins for both of them, the chances are that if a chief prosecutor is replaced or not elected – they risk that if one falls, the other will fall as well.” said Kiril Petkov.
