Permanent representatives of 27 countries of the European Union approved the corresponding proposal of the European Commission.
Citizens and residents of EU countries who have undergone a full coronavirus vaccination at least 14 days before the trip will be able to move freely within the block. About it reported Portugal’s presidency of the European Union on Friday, 11 June.
The corresponding proposal of the European Commission was approved by the permanent representatives of the 27 EU countries.
“The member states have shown a consensus on the restoration of free movement,” the Portuguese permanent mission said in a statement.
In addition, the EU authorities will expand the list of safe to visit regions of the community.
