Dubai: Etihad Rail’s largest bridge in Dubai has been completed. A major construction phase in the emirate has been completed with the completion of the bridge over the man-made lake Al Khudra, officials said.
A train journey through desert, sea, city, forest etc. is a great experience for travelers. About 75% of the work on the 1200 km long Etihad Rail from Saudi border Gwaifat to Fujairah has been completed.
The rest of the construction work is in the final stage. There is also a plan to run a passenger train by the end of 2024 on Etihad Rail, which is being set up with a focus on freight.
