While his thirteenth album just released, singer Etienne Daho just released a new song in duet with Vanessa Paradis. “Shooting the Stars” is therefore the third single to carry the album of the same name. A solar and pop title, which he shares alongside the interpreter of “Tandem”. Obviously for the singer who had not yet collaborated with his lifelong friend: “From the beginning of the writing of the song, the voice of Vanessa Paradis was obvious.explains the singer in a press release.
Inspired by the love story between Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatrathis refrain is illustrated by a poetic clip, enriched with cult cinematographic references such as “Bowler hat and leather boots” or the films ofAlfred Hitchcock.
Etienne Daho will be on tour from next fall. He will go through the Accor Arena in Paris on December 22, 2023.
