A little over a month before the opening of the bus station and the pedestrian walkway, The Regional Minister of Infrastructure has guided Hoy por Hoy Santiago through a work nearing completionr. The footbridge, a “covered street” of 200 meters that connects Pontepedriña and O Hórreo, only needs to weld the elevator, a job that will have to wait for the storm Justine to pass. At the station, today the final touches were already being given.

Ethel Vázquez speaks of “the first fortnight of March” for the implementation of the infrastructure and it plans to start demolishing the old San Caetano facility on those same dates. The set will be completed with the AVE station. Bugallo puts 2023 on the horizon but Vázquez wonders if that is the date “to tender it.” It would seem to me a boldness to say that it will be finished in two years.
