ESV Kaufbeuren starts in (un)stadium time

Stade time is in full swing. You are making a fool of me? You mean it when you say that. Not so in hockey. Like every year, the Christmas period in the fastest team sport in the world is a very hectic but also exciting phase with many matches in a few days.

For ESVK, game days 29, 30, 31 and 32 are now scheduled around December 24 and New Year’s Eve. The Joker will travel to Freiburg and Bayreuth for two away games. Two home games are also scheduled. The ice pirates Crimmitschau and the Krefeld penguins are guests in the energie schwaben arena.

Tickets

Tickets for ESVK home games are available in the online ticket office, in all known ticket offices, in the ESVK office and from 90 minutes before the start of the match at the box office.

23 December away to Freiburg

On Friday evening, one day before Christmas, the ESVK travels to Breisgau. The match at EHC Freiburg is scheduled for 19:30 in the Echte Helden Arena. Coach Robert Hofmann’s team is currently in ninth place in the DEL2 with 27 points in credit.

On 26 December home game against Crimmitschau

The Joker’s first home game after Christmas and hopefully many presents under the Christmas tree will take place on Boxing Day at 17:00 in the energie schwaben arena. The Crimmitschau ice pirates are guests in Allgäu. Coach Marian Bazany’s team is currently 13th in the standings with 31 points.

28 December away to Bayreuth

The last away game of 2022 brings the Joker to the Bayreuth Tigers in Franconia. The match starts at 20:00 in the artificial ice stadium in Bayreuth. Fox coach Rich Chernomaz’s team is still in last place in the current DEL2 table and has also undergone a major personnel change in the sports area in recent weeks.

The last home game of the year then takes place in the local Energie Schwaben Arena against the Krefeld penguins. To date, the Penguin team around new coach Boris Blank is in fourth place in the table with 51 points. The game starts at 7.30pm

There is Kader there is Joker

Joker coach Marko Raita can probably call on most of his team in upcoming games. Surely Fabian Koziol and Yannik Burghart will still be missing, injured for a long time. Forward John Lammers is even planning a comeback in 2022. The Canadian has been in training for some time, interrupted by sick leave, and can’t wait to go out dressed as the Joker again. Most of the many sick players have also returned to training, so the coaches can probably go into the match against Freiburg with a bigger squad.

Live but not in the stadium

All ESVK games will of course also be broadcast live on SpradeTV as a paid stream. As usual, ESVK’s Twitter channel also features our live ticker of all home games with the most important information about current game events.
