After several months of waiting, millions of fans around the world will finally be able to enjoy the long-awaited biopic of Amy Winehouse, “Back to Black,” in movie theaters starting this Thursday, April 11, with the exception of the United Kingdom, now which, by decision of the producers, was planned to be released a day later to coincide with the beginning of the weekend.

The film directed by English filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson, with a script by Matt Greenhalgh and starring Marisa Abela, will tell the first years of life of the singer who unfortunately lost her life at the age of 27 in 2011, after being confirmed in the forensic report that the cause was accidental alcohol poisoning.

Among the highlights of the audiovisual production, the creators announced that exclusive images of Amy Winehouse can be seen. In addition, the video “Tears Dry on Their Own”, considered one of the best of her short career, was re-edited by David LaChapelle, with never-before-seen illustrations of the British Soul and R&B icon.

The soundtrack of “Back To Black Songs From The Original Motion Picture”, will have original recordings of the debut album “Frank” and the famous “Back To Black”. It will also include a new song, “Song for Amy,” sung by Nick Cave.
