The Tallinn Music Week International Music Festival, originally scheduled for June, will take place in the fall from September 29 to October 3.
An additional application round has been announced until the end of April for those artists who want to perform at the planned international music festival. “One of the most important goals of Tallinn Music Week is to promote the development of international relations in the field of music and culture,” comments Pertel Soosalu, Director of TMW Festival. “For this reason, we decided to move the festival from June to the beginning of autumn. It is expected that the travel restrictions caused by the pandemic will be eased, and the event will be open to professionals from the European music industry, as well as the opportunity to perform as many interesting foreign artists as possible. ” Despite the relocation of the festival, the Estonian Music Industry Focus Day will take place on 11 June, organized by Tallinn Music Week in cooperation with industry development organizations. It is planned to analyze the current state of the music business and discuss ways to overcome the crisis.
