Estonia and Slovenia are through to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool this Saturday. With singer ALIKA from Estonia and the band Joker Out from Slovenia, the final gets a Dutch touch.
The number Bridges by ALIKA was written together with the Dutch songwriter and producer Wouter Hardy. And the guitarist of Joker Out is half Dutch. Finland also advanced to the final on Tuesday. Dutch viewers can then also cheer for the Dutch background dancer Jesse Wijnans.

Sixteen countries took part in the second semi-final. Albania, Cyprus, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Australia, Armenia and Belgium also have a chance of winning on Saturday. The highlights of the second semi-final can be read in the live blog.
not through the Netherlands
Sweden, Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Serbia and Norway also received enough votes from the public during the first semi-final. The Dutch duo Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper dropped out. It is the first time since 2015 that the Netherlands has not qualified.
A total of 26 countries will participate in the final on Saturday. Last year, Ukraine won the song festival.
