Estavana has been struggling with her health for some time now. The top handball player recently underwent knee surgery for the second time in ten months. But there are also things wrong with her eyes, she says this weekend. When Hélène Hendriks tries to restore order after someone in the audience causes a stir by going to the toilet in the middle of the broadcast, she asks Estavana if she can actually see her well.

“I can see you, at least … I don’t see your eyes, but I do see you”, Estavana replies. “That’s why I’m with Raf too,” she jokes before getting serious. “I have to be honest: it is of course quite intense, because I only have 30 percent visibility. But I am afraid to do that … to make that. They do say: maybe you play much better, but if I have glasses and I have to climb stairs that is very intense.”
She still manages to find the target. “I think it’s also a kind of feeling,” explains the top player.
