Tense explanation between the Trojan players and their supporters after the heavy 4-0 defeat in Reims on Sunday.
The Estac park experienced a tense atmosphere during the Reims – Troyes derby match. The Estac supporters descended on the lawn, but were blocked by the CRS who had to use tear gas to get them back into the stands.
At the final whistle, the Estac players went to the supporters to chat with them, showing their solidarity with the fans despite the difficulties encountered on the pitch. The club’s legendary consultant, Benjamin Nivet, was also present and took the megaphone to encourage the supporters to stick together behind the club, despite the series of tough defeats they have suffered.
The Trojans have suffered 17 goals in their last five games and are on their sixth game without a win, but the players and fans are showing they stick together no matter what challenges they face.
