500 students returned to school last September at the new Bordeaux campus of Essca. The Angers management school (Maine-et-Loire) has just left the Bassins à flots district of Bordeaux, where it occupied premises of 3,000 square meters, for a new site installed in the heart of the ZAC of Bastide Niel. The establishment has been established in the Bordeaux metropolis since 2016, offering its three-year Bachelor courses and its five-year Grande Ecole program around four specializations.

To respond to its development, Essca has dedicated 25 million euros to the creation of this new campus, located within the former officers’ mess of the Niel barracks. This building built in 1877 has been preserved in its structures and extended by three floors. The result is a modern building of 5,000 square meters, including 22 classrooms, a conference room with 240 seats, collaborative work spaces, a library, a student hall, association premises and a terrace. The site should also be enhanced in the coming months with sports equipment, an incubator for student entrepreneurs and a research laboratory.
