Especially in Meise you have to watch out for ticks: “But that is no reason to avoid the municipality” (Meise)

In the periphery around Brussels and the Pajottenland, Meise, Tervuren and Hoeilaart are the only three municipalities with a significantly increased risk of ticks, according to data from the Flemish government. Natuurpunt Meise states that panic football should not be practiced. “You shouldn’t avoid Meise for that, just always take your precautions, ticks are everywhere.”
