Espalion: tribute to the great names of French song

The Espalion entertainment committee is offering an exceptional piano-singing concert on Saturday May 7 at the Salle Claire-Bonnet in the old station.

Amsterdam, The accordionist, The Italian, C’est extra, L’aigle noir… So many great titles by Brel, Piaf, Ferré, Barbara, Brassens and Reggiani which will be performed by Antoine Garrido accompanied by Laetitia Jollet on the piano.

Let us retain these few words from the organizers on interpretation: “This art which exacerbates the violence of human feelings and which suffers from almost nothing. Not hesitating to wet his shirt, the singer Garrido restores with strength and emotion the tormented and tormented universe of these great names of French Chanson”.

Laetitia Jollet, on the piano, does much more than accompany the singing of Antoine Garrido. She is the double, the accomplice knowing both how to hold back her notes to leave a final breath to the voice on “La Quête” by Brel and knowing how to make them explode, in particular on “Les Anarchistes” or “Amsterdam”.

The originality of the duo is its very composition: a pianist, an interpreter. A masculine voice, ten feminine fingers for this classy and charming duo.
Certainly a great moment of great emotion not to be missed!

Entrée : 8 €.
