Average Clash
The students of the Pierre-de-Coubertin high school in Calais are representative of today’s youth and a certain mistrust of the media: the image of their city constantly conveyed (migrants, weather, etc.) , are journalists telling the truth? What links with power? The advertisement ? The race for the hearing? Aren’t journalism schools just for CSP +?
The project was led by high school students with their history-geo teacher Mathieu Leduc, a journalist Claire Le Nestour and the Découpages press agency.
The work of high school students in Calais is the result of the ESJ Lille 2018-2019 media education program, supported by the European Union, the State (CGET, DRAC, Académie de Lille) and the Region.

Young journalists, they work at BFM TV, Francetvinfo.fr, L’Yonne Républicaine, Reporterre.net, Forbidden stories or on their Youtube channel.
They are told bluntly in six portraits made by Joséphine Duteuil (production Tournez Please) for the Lille Graduate School of Journalism.
