ESEN and car insurance in Cuba

ESEN’s waiting list includes customers who have been waiting to replace their vehicles since 2017. One of the most famous is the comedian Otto Ortiz, who has more than one a trip to attack ESEN and the delay in complying with a part, after signing a car insurance with them.

“The ESEN and the Caudal Group are not keeping their promises (…) in 2023 they said that they had increased the delivery of cars for new ones, but they did not say that the majority are cars that do not walk some of the ones they gave. , they are cars They carry them in escatolinas, and they take them away because they don’t know when they will give them cars that are useful,” he noted this year.

Many Cubans have said they have been deceived by the company, as they have paid insurance policies for decades without having the entity replace their cars or to compensate for damages suffered in traffic accidents in which they were not responsible.

In Cuba, from 2020, both state and private professional drivers must take out insurance. At the end of that year, ESEN had more than a million clients on the island, according to the most recent data available.
