“When in 2017, NASA launched an extrasolar space exploration program called Solaris, it found itself faced with a major problem. Such a program indeed requires preliminary studies. The Izon Corp agency was thus chosen in order to evaluate the chances of survival of the human being in extrasolar environment. This research is called the Hyperion project. The stage has been set for this new kind of live escape game which benefits from a very realistic setting, as well as striking sound and visual effects. What offer a real immersion in the heart of a spaceship! Leaving planet Earth has never been easier. We owe this journey into the future and into space to the Albigensian Félix Catala who created this concept of escape game.
With his partner Anaïs Dessain, they worked for a year to design this project. After a brief introduction, players are invited to board the shuttle and show team spirit and logic to pass the various trials that await them. An artificial intelligence accompanies them, even if Felix is never far to assist the players in the event of a problem.
“Communication between players is essential,” recommends Félix. “There will also be choices to be made that will not be obvious. If Izon Corp is above all an original hobby, it nevertheless questions about extraterrestrial life and artificial intelligence. For amateurs, another scenario around amnesia has been available since the beginning of the summer and plunges players into an equally astonishing and exotic plot.
