Erwin Aksa Reports PPP Romahurmuziy to Bareskrim Polri for Alleged Defamation

Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party Erwin Aksa report on PPP politicians Muhammad Romahurmuziy related to alleged defamation of the Bareskrim Mabes Polri.

This report has also been confirmed by the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Nurul Azizah. Nurul said Erwin’s report had been registered and registered with the number LP/B/90/V/2023/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri dated May 8, 2023.

“That it is true that on May 8 it was reported. However, for the current process, the report is still at the SPKT Bareskrim Polri,” he said when confirmed, Thursday (11/5).

In his report, Erwin suspected that Rommy had violated Article 45 (3) in conjunction with Article 27 (3) of RI Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning ITE and/or Article 310 (1) of the Criminal Code and/or 311 (1) of the Criminal Code.

“The alleged article is about the alleged criminal act of insult and/or defamation through electronic media and/or slander,” he explained.

Nurul said that currently the report is still at the SPKT Polri Headquarters for further review. Including the matter of alleged defamation committed by the Chairman of the PPP DPP Advisory Council.

“Later on that (the defamation material) will be in-depth. This is still just a report from EA to what I mentioned earlier. Later, when it has been handled and there is an update, I will definitely convey it,” he said.

Romahurmuziy’s statement that was questioned by Erwin Aksa was regarding bad checks. Delivered when present as a speaker on a Podcast channel on Youtube,

Romahurmuziy said that Erwin Aksa had committed fraud when giving blank checks. The check cannot be cashed. Erwin Aksa then felt aggrieved by this statement and made a report to the police.
