The appearance of the Avanza Veloz has even become a conversation in cyberspace this week. This latest type of family car is rumored to be coming to the market early next week, Monday (9/8/2021).
Through photos uploaded to the Instagram account @indra_fathan, the shape and capabilities of the car, which is said to be called the Toyota Veloz GR Limited, are shown. This car is expected to be issued with a limited number of units.
“To be honest, the bodykit design is more intentional than the Raize GR Sport where the design is made like a real GR car + GR emblem, but the interior has not been changed at all. The plan is to launch with Rush, Yaris, Agya, and Fortuner GR Sport on 9 August,” wrote the account @indra_fathan who often reviews many types of cars in his account, quoted on Saturday (7/8/2021).
Previously the same thing was also conveyed by one of the Toyota salespeople. That the selling price of this car is expected to be higher than the previous model.
“The estimate is that there is a possibility of an increase of Rp. 8 million to Rp. 10 million, this is outside the relaxation of PPnBM (Sales Tax on Luxury Goods),” a Toyota salesperson told reporters. CNBC Indonesia.
Currently the Toyota Avanza Veloz is getting a 100 percent PPnBM relaxation until August 2021. The marketed prices start from Rp. 212.9 million – Rp. 235.3 million.
Starting next month until December the end of next year, the relaxation of PPnBM will change to 25%. Thus, the price of the Toyota Avanza Veloz, which currently gets a discount of up to Rp. 18 million due to the relaxation of PPnBM, will later increase to tens of millions.
“PPnBM will be 25%, an increase of IDR 13 million for the usual one, if GR Sport adds IDR 8 million, the difference is now around IDR 21 million,” he explained.
If you look at the engine, it is likely that there will be no changes, meaning that the engine will remain 1,329 cc with a power of 96.5 PS at 6,000 rpm.
While the 1,496 cc engine on paper can put out 104 PS at 6,000 rpm and 13.9 kgm (136.3 Nm) of torque at 4,200 rpm.
Toyota Astra Motor did not deny this information. But unfortunately, they don’t want to open up about plans for a new variant of the Avanza Veloz.
