The PlayStation 5 is, of course, an important element in Sony’s overall offering. It is therefore not surprising that the console also appears in general advertisements of the company, but someone has been sleeping for a bit. A new 30-second commercial shows the console, but not in the way it should.
In a fragment, spotted by Nibel on Twitter, we see someone playing a game with the PlayStation 5 lying in the closet. Observant viewers will have already seen it, but the console is upside down and that is officially not the intention. The error was quickly spotted by Sony and the commercial was taken offline again.
Ironically, this isn’t the first time the console has been misplaced. Earlier this year, the boss of Sony Worldwide Studios, Hermen Hulst, shared a photo of his cat in front of the TV and it showed that the console was also upside down with him. Perhaps Sony should communicate a little better or indicate the correct placement.
