The other people at the table have to laugh about it. “Congratulations anyway,” some say. For Coosje, however, it’s a beautiful thing that his father is so open. “He’s so happy. He blurts everything out.”
Ernst Daniël had a rough and difficult time. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. “I couldn’t do anything anymore,” he said in a conversation with Renze Klamer. “Don’t walk, don’t write.” The opera singer has now undergone risky but successful brain surgery.
