Ernest Zozuń Disciplinary Release Polskie Radio

Ernest Zozuń was an informal spokesperson for employees Threes inconsistent with the allegations made against Marek Niedźwiecki. He was also a member of the radio trade union, appointed by the management board for contacts with the media.

Take: Disciplinary release

At the beginning of June this year, when Kuba Strzyczkowski began to manage the antenna of Trójka, Ernest Zozuń was appointed the head of the news department. At that time, he gave interviews to the media, describing in strong words the situation in Trójka after the departure of Niedźwiecki and several journalists (they returned in June, except for Marek Niedźwiecki). – We all came out of all this commotion, terribly bruised, with broken trust. I have to rebuild the editorial office that looks like Warsaw after the war. I need to find out about the situation, and I will do it only after returning from sick leave, on June 10 – he said in an interview with the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal. He also said that in Trójka “there were interviews on request”.

In June, his “3 Corners of the World” returned to the air, but in August – just after Kuba Strzyczkowski was dismissed and the new antenna management was appointed – he was transferred to the Information Radio Agency. Zozuń did not agree to such a change, he was on a sick leave.

As we learn, a few days ago the president of Polish Radio, Agnieszka Kamińska, the only person on the company’s management board, asked trade unionists about the position on the disciplinary dismissal of Ernest Zosia. On Monday, unions sent a letter to the board of directors with a negative opinion about the dismissal, and yet on Tuesday, November 17, the journalist was provided with a notice of termination.

– The letter makes several charges against me. I don’t want to comment on this. I am referring the case to court – says Zozuń to the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal.

Hey and Owczarek moved away from the antenna

At the beginning of June, Kuba Strzyczkowski appointed two more managers in the editorial office of Trójka: Sylwia Hejj became the head of the three journalism, and Mariusz Owczarek – the music director.

At the end of October this year. Sylwia Hejj, the publisher of such programs as “Klub Trójki”, “Byle do 13th” or “Winien i ma”, was removed from the aerial work. Although she was not formally dismissed, suspended or changed the editorial office – she disappeared from the graphic designers. The head of the cultural journalist, Piotr Majewski, informed her by e-mail that she had lost her trust, she was removed from the air, there was no chance of broadcasting. Hey, he’s on sick leave now.

Mariusz Owczarek, on the other hand, has recently hosted nightly music programs called “Mało Objectively”. Two days ago, he was now removed from this and went to the editorial office of the PolskieRadio.pl portal, subject to the Information Radio Agency. It is not known what he would do there.

Bartosz Gil may lose his job

According to the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal, the management of the Polish Radio asked the trade unions operating at the broadcaster a few days ago for their opinion on the dismissal of Bartosz Gil. The dismissal (as it appears from the letter) would proceed in the normal manner, in this case there is no question of a disciplinary dismissal. Trade unions have time to respond to this question by the end of the week.

Gil is a journalist working in Trójka at the Przebojów List, in mid-May this year. has been suspended. The management of the antenna accused him (and other people as well) of manipulating the results of List No. 1998, as a result of which Kazik’s song “Your pain is better than mine” was to win. In response, the suspended journalist wrote a letter to the then director of Trójka, Tomasz Kowalczewski. – It’s not true that a song off the list was introduced. For there has never been a list from which songs are added to the voting set. Their selection was an autonomous decision of Marek Niedźwiecki. The voting mechanism for the List was not perfect, but you have known it for many months. You personally participated in the meetings and was attached to correspondence with the IT department. Through these channels, this problem was raised as the most important among the many troubling the List. The letter was received and publicized by the media.

From August this year. Trójka has a new management and is gradually changing to a cultural and musical profile, with less journalism on the air. The director was then Michał Narkiewicz-Jodko, and his deputies were Piotr Kordaszewski and Marek Wiernik. The situation of the third deputy, Mirosław Rogalski, who has been holding this position since the time of Tomasz Kowalczewski, remains unclear.

Ernest Zozuń has been associated with the Polish Radio for over 20 years. In 2003-2005 he was the sender’s correspondent in Iraq, and in 2006-2007 – in Moscow. In Trójka he led, among others broadcasts “Evening of reportage”, “Radioactive magazine of reporters”, “Europe by definition” and “We live in Europe”. He was also the publisher of the band “We invite you to Trójki”. In July 2019, he was delegated to the IAR archives. He returned from there in October 2019 and he was then reinstated in the international journalism department. In May this year. was in the delegation of employees of Trójka, which took part in a meeting of the Senate Committee on Culture and Media, devoted to the situation in Program III of the Polish Radio. The president Agnieszka Kamińska and the then director – Tomasz Kowalczewski were asked about this situation. Ernest Zozuń spoke then, inter alia, about text messages that Kowalczewski was supposed to direct in some of the editorial work.

Trójka’s market share in the period from August to October this year. was 2.9 percent. This is the lowest result in the history of the antenna.
