OSLO – Norwegian National Team (National Team) striker, Erling Haaland, issued a surprising statement about his duel with Virgil van Dijk. Haaland implies that he has broken a finger Virgil van Dijk during a duel in the continuation of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the European Zone.
As is known, the Norwegian national team is faced with the Dutch national team in the continued match for the 2022 World Cup Qualification which takes place on Thursday (2/9/2021) early morning WIB. Playing at home, Norway also had to be willing to share points because the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In that match, Haaland brought Norway ahead through his goal in the 20th minute. However, 16 minutes later, De Oranje – the nickname of the Dutch national team – managed to equalize through Davy Klaassen’s goal in the 36th minute.

Behind the match, there was a drama. The reason, Haaland thought that he had broken Van Dijk’s finger. Because, these two players are often involved in a duel.

The tough duel even made Van Dijk to be taken to the sidelines to be examined by the medical team. However, the physio team confirmed that Van Dijk did not have a broken bone. However, the Dutch defender was declared dislocated.
