The 23-year-old was a beast in front of goal scoring 52 goals in 53 games in all competitions in his inaugural season at Man City.
Erling Haaland helped lead Pep Guardiola’s team to an extraordinary treble, namely the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. Haaland is also the top scorer in both competitions, scoring 12 goals in Europe and 36 goals in the Premier League, a new record.
The Norwegian beat team-mates Kevin De Bruyne and Lionel Messi to claim the award, which was announced during the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco.
