Yes, I honestly think I would have voted for myself. Because I love seeing myself perform now and I think I would be a fan of myself if I was another man, that’s why (laughs).

As I said, I am very proud and honored to receive this award. It’s a very good feeling to know that other people appreciate what I do on the field. I’m happy, it makes me happy, I have a smile.

(Laughs) Sometimes a little, yes. I’ve seen this too, people call me “the machine” and I find it very funny. Sometimes, I have a bit of a machine side, yes.

I totally understand what he means. Football is changing. It changes every year, the sport evolves. Statistics aren’t everything, I think it’s important, but it’s not the most important thing. The most important thing is how you play football. So I somewhat agree with him on this point. It’s still important to score a lot.
