Erling Haaland become a scary specter Premier League this season, but the Norwegian’s sharpness suddenly disappeared when they met Liverpool.
Haaland really showed stimulation when he was recruited by Man City. The son of former Citizens Alf player Inge Haaland has almost always scored in every Man City game this season in various competitions.
In total, Haaland has scored 20 goals, with 15 balls scored in the Premier League and the other five scored in the Champions League.

In the national competition, Haaland has never played. Of the 10 games Man City played, Haaland has always been Pep Guardiola’s favorite player.
In those 10 games, there were two games that Haaland failed to score, namely against Bournemouth in the second week and against Liverpool in the tenth week which took place on Sunday (16/10) night.
In last night’s game at Anfield Stadium, Haaland made six shots with four on target, one blocked and one off.
Especially against Liverpool, Haaland was unable to score twice. Prior to the Premier League match of week 10, Haaland had already played against Liverpool in the Community Shield.
In the opening match before the Premier League kicked off this season, Man City lost 1-3 and Haaland didn’t score.
If Haaland has recently been called a robot due to his unstoppable goal-scoring ability, against Liverpool it looks like the 22-year-old may be normalized or become ‘broken’.
Before moving to Man City, Haaland had faced Liverpool twice. In two matches with the RB Salzburg costume in the 2019/2020 Champions League, Haaland only managed to score one goal.
In total in four games against the Reds, Haaland scored a goal and always suffered a defeat.
