Dagbladet updates the case!
OSLO TINGHUS (Dagbladet): In mid-March, it became known that Erland Bakke, who for many years has been the manager of several Norwegian celebrities, retired as celebrity manager.
The same day he could reveal to Dagbladet that he was charged for having submitted fabricated e-mail in connection with a lawsuit.
Resigns as manager
This week, Bakke will appear in court, accused of, among other things, giving a false explanation and falsifying a document.
Two days have been set aside in Oslo District Court for the case.
– Not guilty
The points Bakke is charged with have a penalty of fines or imprisonment for up to two years.
Asked if he pleads guilty, he said Wednesday morning that he was not guilty.
Accused
Manufactured email
Bakke was initially accused of fabricating an e-mail in connection with a lawsuit against Mads Hansen (38).
It was to be from model Amalie Olufsen, who for a short period collaborated with Bakke, and was to document financial loss for Bakke in the lawsuit against Hansen.
Olufsen denies that she wrote or sent the e-mail – which was sent by lawyer John Christian Elden to the conciliation council on Bakke’s behalf.
– Hope he is convicted
Mads Hansen is present in the district court on Wednesday. He has the status of offended in the case. He tells Dagbladet that he is very excited about the day.
– I’m here because for the first time in my life I’m at least a little involved – I’ve never been to a trial before. The cold facts are that Erland Bakke is accused of forging documents, for sending an email in a lawsuit with me. An email that was then fabricated, and then I got the status of offended. So then I’m going to court and witness this.
– What are your expectations?
– Nothing! I’ve only seen trials on film, so I’m very excited about whether it’s like on film or not. Then it is very exciting to see what is being said from the various parties.
Strikes back against celebrity manager
When asked what he hopes the outcome will be, he is clear in his speech.
– I will so honestly say that I hope he is convicted for what he is accused of.
On Thursday, Hansen will present a claim for compensation for legal expenses of almost NOK 200,000.
