Tuesday night writes IS! News that “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne (49) and lawyer Thomas Girardi (81) are divorcing after 21 years of marriage.
The couple has usually protected their marriage well and kept the cards close to their chests, but now it may seem that not everything has been as rosy.
– Thought of divorce for two years
– After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not an easy choice. I have great love and respect for Tom and for the years and life we built together, it says in a statement from Jayne.
– It is my greatest wish to go through this process with respect for privacy that both Tom and I deserve, she continues, and adds that she hopes this will be respected.

Star couple
The star couple got married in 1999 after meeting at Chasen’s in West Hollywood. At the time, the 49-year-old served drinks, while Girardi was often a guest.
“After working at the restaurant for a year, I decided one night to give Tom my phone number,” Jayne wrote in her book, “Pretty Mess,” in 2018, and continued:

Six months later, they became engaged, but on several occasions, the reality star has had to defend her marriage to the 32-year-old lawyer.
