BOLASPORT.COM – Erik ten Hag once made a player sign a contract termination clause.

He came to Old Trafford with two Dutch League titles each and KNVB Beker with Ajax Amsterdam.
One of Ten Hag’s recipes for success is his prowess in disciplining players.
The former Denmark defender, Kevin Conboy, told an interesting story when he was raised by Ten Hag in Utrecht.
They were both involved in cooperation in the 2015–2017 period.
Over the course of two years, Conboy made a total of 28 appearances for Ten Hag.
“I’m not mentioning names, but we have a player whose house is 30 or 40 minutes from the training ground. One day, he came late and Erik said, ‘This won’t happen again’,” Conboy said as quoted by BolaSport.com from the Daily Stars.
“Then he came in late again about five minutes. Maybe in Dutch terms, compared to the Premier League, it’s nothing. However, he received a fine of around 1,000 euros.”
“Then, when he was late for the third time, he went to the director’s office and signed a contract stating that if he was late again, ‘you may cancel my contract’.”
