Manager Manchester United, Erik ten Hag give a defense for David De Gea, who blundered against Sevilla. The Spanish keeper’s clean sheet record in the Premier League is his weapon.
MU suffered a heavy defeat to Sevilla in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. At the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Friday (21/4/2023) early morning WIB, MU lost 0-3, failed to qualify for the final with an aggregate of 2-5 from Sevilla.
Youssef En-Nesyr contributed a brace for Sevilla. Another Los Rojiblancos goal was scored by Loic Bade.
A pair of En-Nesyri goals were the fruit of a blunder by MU players. Harry Maguire made a wrong cross in front of the penalty box, which was used by En-Nesyri to score in the first half.
At 81 minutes, By Gea wrong clearance. En-Nesyri easily scored Sevilla’s third goal. De Gea became the target of criticism.
The Ten Hag is still defending itself. De Gea is the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season, with a score of 14 clean sheets conceded.
“He is the one with the most clean sheets in the Premier League; it shows that he is the most capable goalkeeper,” said Ten Hag on Sportskeeda.
