Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir visit the presenter Dorce Gamalama at the Pertamina Central Hospital, Jakarta, Sunday (24/10).
Erick wanted to know the latest condition of the 58-year-old artist who had been hospitalized for two weeks due to illness and had fallen unconscious.
“I have known Mrs. Dorce for a long time, when I heard this news, I immediately visited and made sure that the service for her was going well,” Erick said in a written statement, Sunday (24/10).
“Even though I was able to speak earlier, I advised you to stay rest and be treated until you recover. God willing, we will help as much as possible, and let’s pray that Mrs. Dorce can gather again with her beloved family,” added Erick.
Previously, Dorce Gamalama’s daughter, Siti Khadijah, revealed that Dorce did not complain before being found unconscious on Thursday (7/10) afternoon. Dorce mentioned earlier only admitted to being sleepy.
Separately, the former manager of Dorce Gamalama, Sari, said the senior artist had had diabetes for a long time.
“Since 15-20 years ago. But now it has dropped like this,” said Sari.
Not only that, Dorce Gamalama in 2019 also admitted to having kidney stones. He also revealed that he had diabetes.
Dorce Gamalama’s niece, Mimi, said at the Viral Coffee event, Friday (8/10), Dorce Gamalama has often been back and forth in the hospital since mid-2020 until the fast of 2021.
