BUMN Minister Erick Thohir removed 2 high-ranking officials from PT Miscellaneous Mines Tbk or Antam. They are the Commercial Director Aprilandi Hidayat Setia and the Operation and Production Director Hartono.
The removal was carried out at Antam’s General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) on Wednesday (7/4).
“As of the closing of today’s GMS, Pak Aprilandi and Pak Hartono have been honorably dismissed. We thank you for serving as company directors,” said Corporate Secretary Antam Kunto Purwoko in a press conference, Wednesday (7/4).
In addition, management changed the nomenclature of positions. Kunto explained that the position of finance director changed to director of finance and risk management, then director of operations and production became director of operations and business transformation.
“The resolution of today’s AGM also eliminates the director of commerce and the director of business development,” added Kunto.
With this reshuffle, the details of Antam’s current board of directors consist of President Director Dana Amin, Director of Finance and Risk Management Anton Herdianto, Director of Human Resources Luki Setiawan Suardi, and Director of Operations and Business Transformation Risono.
Then, Kunto stated that management decided to distribute dividends of 35 percent of the 2020 net profit. This means that the company distributes dividends of around IDR 400 billion from the 2020 net profit of IDR 1.15 trillion.
“Antam’s net profit grew 493 percent compared to the current year of 2019,” said Kunto.
