Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir has deactivated Antonius NS Kosasih from his position as President Director of PT Taspen (Persero). This is the result of allegations of corruption in fictitious investment activities at PT Taspen (Persero) FY 2019.
The alleged corruption case is currently being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This case has moved to the investigation stage and is in the process of completing the evidence.
“Mr. Erick’s instructions regarding the Taspen case that occurred in early 2019 mean that Mr. Erick has taken steps so that we continue to support the cases that occurred at the KPK. So that the process is also good and good, Mr. Erick yesterday deactivated the Managing Director of Taspen,” said Special Staff to the Minister of BUMN Arya Sinulingga, Friday (8/3/2024).
Arya said that currently the interim Taspen Investment Director is the acting Main Director of the company. “And currently the person replacing the acting director is their Investment Director,” he explained.
Arya explained that the decision was taken by Erick Thohir as a step to support the legal process currently being carried out by the KPK.
“So these are the steps so that what the Corruption Eradication Committee is doing can run well, all the steps for cleaning up Taspen are going well, so these are the steps taken by the Ministry of BUMN,” he concluded.

“It’s true, following up on public reports regarding alleged corruption which is under the authority of the Corruption Eradication Commission, the process of collecting evidence is currently being carried out regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in fictitious investment activities at PT Taspen (Persero) for FY 2019 involving other companies,” said the Head of News Division. Ali explained that the results of the investigation found that there were state losses reaching hundreds of billions. Currently, according to Ali, the exact figure for state losses is still in the process of being calculated.
“The state financial losses resulting from this procurement reached hundreds of billions of rupiah and the process of calculating the real value of the losses is underway,” he said.
However, Ali has not revealed who the suspect is in this case. Ali said that his party would make an announcement to the public when there was sufficient evidence.
“The construction of the case that ensnares the parties named as suspects, including anyone who is a suspect, cannot be announced to the public until we consider that all stages of collecting evidence are sufficient,” said Ali.
