Erick Thohir Changes Pertamina’s Board of Directors

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir overhauled the ranks directors PT Pertamina (Persero) which was stipulated in the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on Monday (3/5/2021) yesterday.

In the meeting, Dedi Sunardi was appointed as director Support Pertamina Business. Previously this position was held by Muhammad Haryo Yunianto, who is now the President Director of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN).

The new composition of Pertamina’s board of directors is contained in the Copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number SK-142 / MBU / 05/2021 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Members. Directors Limited Liability Company (Persero) PT Pertamina, which was signed on May 3, 2021.

Acting Senior Vice President for Corporate Communication & Investor Relations at Pertamina, Fajriyah Usman said that as one of the authorities of the shareholders, the GMS had determined Pertamina’s new board of directors.

In the Decree, shareholders also honorably dismiss Muhammad Haryo Yunianto from the position of Pertamina’s Business Support Director, which he has held since June 12, 2020. Previously, Haryo served as Pertamina’s Asset Management Director since April 20, 2018.

“Pertamina would like to thank Mr. M. Haryo Yunianto who has received a new assignment as the President Director of Subholding Gas Pertamina, namely PGN,” said Fajriyah in a written statement quoted on Tuesday (4/5/2021).

Meanwhile, before being appointed as Pertamina’s Business Support Director, Dedi Sunardi served as President Director of PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia. He also had a career at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).

The man who was born in Magetan in 1964, holds a Bachelor of Corporate Economics from Jayabaya University, Jakarta in 1988. Then he earned a Masters in Management from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2000.
