On his social media, Erick Thohir shares videos from world football legends. The contents are congratulations and prayers for the election of Erick Thohir as general chairman of PSSI.
Football legends from Roberto Carlos, John Terry, to Wesley Sneijder also congratulated. Don’t forget to pray for Indonesian football as well.

“Hi Erick, congratulations and best wishes for Indonesian football. A warm hug from me. Ciao,” said Roberto Carlos, a former Brazilian and Real Madrid left-back.
“Hi Erick, hi my friend. Congratulations and best wishes for Indonesia. Hope we meet again,” continued Marco Materazzi, former defender of Italy and Inter Milan.
“Two Erick Thohir, John Terry here. I just want to congratulate you and wish you and Indonesian football all the best. I also hope to work with you again. Good luck,” John Terry, a former Chelsea and England national team defender, joined in the prayer.
“Hi Erick, congratulations and best wishes for Indonesian football,” Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti also commented.
And lastly is Wesley Sneijder, a Dutch legend who once defended Ajax, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. He wished Erick Thohir success too.

Erick Thohir himself was elected Chairman of PSSI in PSSI Extraordinary Congress (KLB)., last February 16th. He immediately worked quickly, among other things, promising to eradicate the football mafia, improve the performance of the Indonesian National Team, and help the welfare of the referees. Many also urged that Trial Tragedy be resolved.
