Ministry of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) appointed Ulin Ni’am Yusron as Independent Commissioner of PT Indonesia Tourism Development or Indonesia Tourism Development (ITDC).
Appointment Ulin Yusron contained in the Decree (SK) Number: SK-319 / MBU / 10/2020 dated October 8, 2020 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Company (Persero) PT Pembangunan Pariwisata Indonesia.
Ulin Ni’am Yusron filled the position left by Donni Aldian, who had previously been appointed as Independent Commissioner of ITDC. Through the same decree, shareholders also confirmed the honorific dismissal of Donni Aldian as Independent Commissioner of ITDC starting October 8, 2020.
Submission of the SK is done virtually via video conference with the Zoom Meeting application by the Acting Assistant Deputy for Regions, Logistics and Tourism of the Ministry of BUMN Endra Gunawan.
The appointment of the Independent Commissioner complements the composition of the ITDC Board of Commissioners as follows:
President Commissioner: Dadang Rizki Ratman
Commissioner: Irzani
Commissioner: Zainal Mutaqin
Independent Commissioner: Ulin Ni’am Yusron
Before being trusted as an Independent Commissioner, Ulin Ni’am Yusron worked as an economic journalist and later founded an online news site (until 2013). Ulin Ni’am Yusron also worked on private investigation and became a consultant for several online media (2009-2013).
Ulin Ni’am Yusron is also known as a social media activist who supports Joko Widodo (Jokowi). He was in the spotlight when he spread the personal data of someone whom he initially suspected was the man who threatened to behead Jokowi. It turned out that the accusation was wrong.
