PT Kimia Farma Tbk changed the composition of the board of directors. This is in accordance with the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2021 financial year.
Kimia Farma changes the President Director. Verdi Budidarmo was replaced as President Director by David Utama.
David Utama himself was previously the President and CEO of GE Healthcare ASEAN from 2010 to 2016. The company is a manufacturer of medical devices (alkes). Previously he served as President of GE Indonesia from 2009 to 2010.
“The results of today’s AGMS agenda have revealed that there has been a change in management, there has been a change in the main director of KAEF being replaced by Mr. David Utama,” said Director of Finance & Risk Management Lina Sari in a virtual public expose, Wednesday (11/5/2022).
Lina also explained that there was a downsizing of the board of directors of Kimia Farma. What used to be 6 has now become only 5 people.
The position of Marketing and Commercial Director was removed. In line with that, the director who held the position, Imam Fathorrahman, left the company.
“Meanwhile, there is a change in the nomenclature at Kimia Farma. From the board of direction the number of 6 has now been reduced to 5, so that there is no replacement for Pak Imam Faturrahman,” said Lina.
In addition, there is a new name in the board of commissioners, namely Wiku Adisasmito. Wiku is the spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force.
