Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir reshuffle the composition of the members of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero) by appointing 3 names namely Heru Pambudi as Commissioner and Ahmad Fikri Assegaf and Iggi Haruman Achsien as Independent Commissioners.
While the position of President Commissioner is still occupied by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok.
Pertamina’s new Board of Commissioners is contained in a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number SK-222/MBU/07/2021 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina. The decision is set for July 2, 2021.
In the Decree, the shareholders confirmed the honorable dismissal of Isa Rachmatarwata as the Company’s Commissioner of the Company who has been serving since December 2019.
The SOE Ministry Decree also honorably dismissed Condro Kirono as a member of the Board of Commissioners and David Bingei as a member of the Independent Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero) since 2019 and 2020.
Pertamina Acting Senior Vice President Corporate Communication & Investor Relations Fajriyah Usman said the company had received a copy of the decision letter from the shareholders regarding the change in the composition of the board of commissioners,
“To the three commissioners whose terms of office have ended, Pertamina would like to thank all the contributions of their energy and thoughts during their tenure,” said Fajriyah in an official statement, quoted Friday (2/7).
Heru Pambudi currently serves as Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance after previously serving as director general of customs and excise at the Ministry of Finance. Meanwhile, Ahmad Fikri Assegaf has a legal background and has served as Commissioner of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero).
Then, Iggi H Achsien has experience in the financial industry, especially in the field of Islamic banking. He has served as Commissioner in several companies, currently Iggi is a member of the Expert Team of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and in early 2021, he became Secretary General of the Islamic Economic Community (MES) for the period 2021-2023.
