When Erica and Martien are asked if they are currently dating someone, the answer is: no. A while ago the former lord of the castle went out for dinner with Danny van Married at First Sight, but according to Martien, that was purely to draw attention away from Erica. He says: “He had that thing with that Sander van Betten, that man who said he was in a relationship with her when it wasn’t true at all.”

“He thinks it’s a relationship if you get to know each other, I only think it’s a relationship if you also kiss and have sex with each other,” says Erica.
Sander was already discredited because of his ‘relationship’ with Erica. According to some, he went out of his way to become famous, as can be seen in the video below.
