Australian actress Erica Hoy (26) died Tuesday night in a chain collision on the highway in Australia’s town of Gillman.
The family confirms this to the newspaper The advertiser.
The promising acting talent was sitting in the car with her twin sisters and her boyfriend when the accident happened. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Hoy died at the scene.
“The dirtiest in the world” (94) is dead
An 18-year-old woman who was in another car was also involved in the accident. She was taken to the hospital, but she suffered no fatal injuries.
The highway was closed in both directions as police investigated the scene.

The father, Greg Hoy, spoke to The Advertiser about the indescribable loss.
– She was a bright, happy and positive girl. She was coming home from an acting class when it happened, she said, continuing:
– He never gave us anything to worry about. Fortunately, she wasn’t alone when she died.
Died after a bar fight
Erica Hoy and her twin sisters lived in Japan before moving to Australia in 2015. They both studied languages and the arts at Flinders University in Adelaide, and shared a great passion for film.
The 26-year-old was a promising young actor and was expected to have a brilliant career.
Most recently, he starred in a film that was screened at the Adelaide Film Festival. She also participated in the web series “The Reality Of Humanity”.
38-year-old defendant
A 38-year-old woman is now accused of causing the chain collision, which involved a total of five cars.
According to police witnesses, the accused woman should have fled the scene of the accident.
Sandra (32) found dead in a suitcase
She was subsequently arrested by nearby police and is due to appear in court in Adelaide, accused of causing serious injury and death due to negligent driving.
The 38-year-old is also accused of leaving the scene of an accident and not providing information about himself, as well as obstructing the work of the police.
