Eric Ten Hag makes Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision, as pointed out by Declan Rice – Mac Pro Tricks

Manchester United are now running out of steam as the end of a forgotten campaign nears.

A 3-0 win over Brentford on Monday kept the team’s hopes of a Champions League finisher alive, although Arsenal’s win over Leeds United on Sunday would see the Red Devils officially play in next season’s Europa League would.

United can continue to play their part in applying pressure and have a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion in store for them on Saturday night before the end of the season against Crystal Palace.

As much as many members of the club want a quick end to the season, longtime coach Erik ten Hag will no doubt be keeping an eye on these arguments.

Who are the players who deserved a chance in United’s last two games? Let us know in the comments below!

Ten Hag calls Ronaldo

Ten Hag is said to be keen on Cristiano Ronaldo playing a key role at Old Trafford next season.

Although the 37-year-old has hit the ball repeatedly this season, the launch of a new system in the summer has led some to question whether the veteran striker will be part of the Dutchman’s plans.

However, Ten Hag is reportedly keen on working with Ronaldo and is already working on a plan that can bring out the best in the Portuguese and capitalize on his scoring chances.

Ten Hag will reportedly change Ronaldo at various points in the season, meaning the former Real Madrid and Juventus marksman will have to reconcile himself to not being in the starting XI every week.

Rice candies point to the future

Declan Rice revealed that Manchester United’s goal has given a hint about his future, suggesting he wants to play in more big games for West Ham United.

The London club were knocked out of the European League semi-finals by Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday and the English Premier League lost 3-1 on aggregate. It means the club won’t play in the Champions League next season, beating the speculation about Rice will only intensify.

But after the game, the England international said he had a desire to do more with the club.

“It’s a real gutter because I have to listen to them partying, it’s not pretty but we’ll be back,” he said. “I’m young and I want more. The players want more. This club deserves more. We’ve shown as a club that we can pull off these big European nights.”

The Red Devils compete with Arsenal for Eketek

Manchester United are reportedly ready to join Reims’ young forward Hugo Eketek.

The 19-year-old has had an impressive season in Ligue 1, registering nine goals and two assists in 21 Ligue 1 games. Reims will reportedly accept a £13million bid for Ekitike.

Some of Europe’s top clubs have been linked with the third player as he is seen as an exciting prospect who could provide decent cover in the squad.

Arsenal have been mentioned as an option as strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s contracts expire in the summer. United may also need offensive reinforcements as Edinson Cavani prepares to continue once his contract expires.
