Official: Eric Dier leaves Tottenham and reinforces Bayern
Eric Dier was announced a few minutes ago as Bayern Munich’s new reinforcement. The former Sporting player left Tottenham and joined the club that won the Bundesliga consecutively for the last 11 seasons.
The English international central defender signed a contract with the Bavarians valid until June 30, 2024, with the possibility of this contract being extended for another year. The 29-year-old player will wear number 15.
“This move is a dream come true for me, because since I was a child I wanted to play for a club like Bayern one day. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and has an incredible history. I want to help the team with my versatility in defense I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and the fans at the Allianz Arena, which, in my opinion, is one of the best stadiums in the world”, said the defender, in statements quoted by the German club.
