Consultant for Canal Plus for more than ten years, Eric Carrière has decided to devote himself exclusively to his wine project in Dijon.
He had been one of Canal Plus’ tactical guarantees for twelve years. Due to his Olympian calm and his vision of football which had already delighted on the D1 pitches in the early 2000s, Eric Career had established himself as one of the crypto chain’s leading consultants for a decade. It will now be ancient history since the former OL leader has announced that he will end this role at the end of the Ligue 1 season.
“In agreement with Canal Plus, I made the decision to stop my activity as a consultant at the end of the season to devote myself to the other profession that has fascinated me since 2010, that of an entrepreneur for the ‘Caves Carrière’. . Thank you to all the Canal teams for these 12 wonderful years.”, he wrote on his Twitter account.
Arrived late in the professional world, Eric Carrière imposed himself at the high level on the side of the FC Nantes under the command of Reynald Denoueix especially before participating in the beginning of the golden age ofOL between 2001 and 2004. A French international (10 caps, 5 goals), the leader won four French championship titles in a row. Three with Olympique Lyonnais (2002, 2003, 2004) and one with the Canaries (2001).
