San José Earthquakes legionary Eric Calvillo received his Salvadoran passport at the Consulate General of El Salvador in San Francisco, California, so he could be one of the members of the definitive list of the pre-Olympic team.
It should be noted that the only legionnaire who appeared on the preliminary list of the tournament was the new LAFC goalkeeper Tomás Romero, but the U-23 coach explained that five legionary elements are still in migration processes to receive their passports and permits to be part of the national team.
“There are five players that are being considered and this depends on them being able to get their passport as soon as possible. It is an administrative issue that is already being managed and from what I understand of the five players, four are already very advanced and probably this week they will already have their passport, so they could be part of it, ”said Peréz in the February 23 edition of The TV Graphic.
Tomás Romero, Enrico Dueñas, Eric Calvillo, Joshua Pérez, Damián Alguera, Gilbert Fuentes were part of the microcycles of the under-23 selection process. Coach Hugo Pérez is expected to present the final list of players next week.
